Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Late evening: On arrival by your international flight, meet and greet at
the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi
Day 02 : In Delhi
Full day guided city tour of Delhi including Raj Ghat (memorial of Mahatma
Gandhi), Jama Masjid (largest mosque in India), Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb,
Qutub Minar, India Gate and Parliament House. In the evening enjoy the
Dances of India show followd by a welcome dinner. Overnight in Delhi
Day 03 : Delhi - Mandawa
Morning: Drive to Mandawa (250 kms/06 hrs) and on arrival check in at
hotel. Afternoon: Visit the various "Havelis" in and around
Mandawa. Overnight in Mandawa
Day 04 : Mandawa - Bikaner
Morning: Drive to Bikaner (190 kms/04½ hrs) and on arrival check in at
hotel. Afternoon: Guided city tour of Bikaner. Overnight in Bikaner
Day 05 : Bikaner - Deshnoke - Pushkar
Early Morning: Drive to Pushkar (260 kms/06 hrs) enroute visit the Rat
temple at Deshnoke. On arrival in Pushkar, check in at hotel. Overnight in
Pushkar
Day 06 : Pushkar - Jaipur
Morning: Guided tour of Pushkar. Later drive to Jaipur (145 kms/03½
hrs) and on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight in Jaipur
Day 07 : In Jaipur
Morning: Guided excursion to Amber Fort with elephant ride. Afternoon:
Guided tour of Jaipur - City
Palace,
Jantar Mantar (medieval scientific observatory) and Hawa Mahal (Palace of
Winds). Overnight in Jaipur
Day 08 : Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra
Drive to Agra (231 kms/05 hrs) enroute visit the deserted city of Fatehpur
Sikri (the red Sandstone City). On arrival in Agra, check in at hotel. Late
afternoon: Visit Taj Mahal in the evening at sunset. Overnight in Agra
Day 09 : Agra - Khajuraho
After early breakfast visit the Agra Fort. Afternoon: Transfer to airport
to connect flight to Khajuraho. On arrival in Khajuraho, transfer to hotel.
Overnight in Khajuraho
Day 10 : In Khajuraho
Full day guided visit to the Western, Southern and Eastern Group of
Temples. Overnight in Khajuraho
Day 11 : Khajuraho - Varanasi
After breakfast transfer to airport in time to connect flight to Varanasi.
On arrival in Varanasi, transfer to hotel. Afternoon: Guided excursion to
Sarnath (10 kms) where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 BC. Overnight
in Khajuraho
Day 12 : Varanai - Kathmandu
Early Morning: Boat ride on the sacred river Ganges to see the rituals
performed by devotees and priests. Later walking tour of the Old city.
Afternoon: Transfer to airport in time to connect flight to Kathmandu. On
arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 13 : In Kathmandu
Morning: Guided tour of Kathmandu and the valley including Swayambunath and
Darbar square. Afternoon: Guided excursion to Patan and Tibetan refugee
camp. Overnight in Kathmandu
Day 14 : In Kathmandu
Morning: Gudied excursion to Bhadgaon, Pashupatinath and Boudnath. Rest of
the day free for shopping.
Day 15 : Kathmandu - Dhulikhel
Morning: Drive to Dhulikhel (32 kms). Rest of the day at leisure and visit
the markets and temples. Overnight in Dhulikhel
Day 16 : Dhulikhel - Kathmandu - Delhi - Depart
Morning: Drive back to Kathmandu in time to connect flight to Delhi. On
arrival in Delhi, transfer to a city hotel for wash and change (lobby use).
Evening: After a farewell dinner at an Indian Specialty Hotel, transfer to
international airport in time to connect onward flight home
